03Frequently asked
How many Marvel movies are there?
The MCU counts 43 films plus 24 series and specials, announced releases included.
What is a Marvel phase?
A phase gathers the films and series that tell one arc and closes on a large crossover. Phases 1 to 3 form the Infinity Saga, which ends with Avengers: Endgame; phases 4 to 6 form the Multiverse Saga, closed by Avengers: Secret Wars. Phase 7 opens the Mutant Saga — Kevin Feige's own name for it — with the X-Men film in May 2028.
What is the next Marvel movie?
VisionQuest, dated October 14, 2026.
Are the Disney+ series part of the MCU?
Yes. Since WandaVision in 2021, Marvel Studios series share the same continuity as the films and are sorted into the same phases.
